How to Track Adsense for a Single Page

How to track Adsense for a specific page? If you are using Adsense, you can test those by using channels broad across the whole site, like you can test top block, bottom block. But what if you want to test Adsense placed on an individual page? Say you want to make some changes on your popular “Page Rank” page on your site – now how do you test that page? Can google give you statistics just on one page? And the answer is yes – it’s called “url channels”.

Login to your Adsense account and when setting up your channels just set up a “url channel”. And google tracks down to the page level, the url, and that’s going to give you the stats for one page. So, instead of testing things across your entire site, if you have a real popular page, it’s one way to test changes just on that page. It’s called url channels – real easy to set up. You have to pay attention once you start using your url channels because your total earnings, when you are doing the breakdown, is gonna add under your url channels. So pay attention to that.

How to Make Money With Google AdSense

It’s important to understand how Adsense works and how people are making so much money from it. It’s like you have a website and google will just pay you money placing ads on your site. This is pretty much the concept. It might sound very easy on the surface but there are some works involved. Building your website is the first key. And then comes more traffic (targeted traffic) to that website. It’s not good enough just to put up a website and just submit it to google and then throw some ads on it, expects to be making two or three thousand dollars a month. It just doesn’t happen like that.

The key is to find a topic that you are interested in, let’s say Golf. You could build a 50-75 page site on golf and help people improve their golf game, get recommendations for the type of equipment to buy. Whatever the topic is that should be something that you love and that’s important because if you love it, you won’t mind building more and more content for the site. And the more content you have the more likely the search engines will give you more traffic and you will be making more money with Adsense in the long run.
