How to Make Money With Google AdSense

It’s important to understand how Adsense works and how people are making so much money from it. It’s like you have a website and google will just pay you money placing ads on your site. This is pretty much the concept. It might sound very easy on the surface but there are some works involved. Building your website is the first key. And then comes more traffic (targeted traffic) to that website. It’s not good enough just to put up a website and just submit it to google and then throw some ads on it, expects to be making two or three thousand dollars a month. It just doesn’t happen like that.

The key is to find a topic that you are interested in, let’s say Golf. You could build a 50-75 page site on golf and help people improve their golf game, get recommendations for the type of equipment to buy. Whatever the topic is that should be something that you love and that’s important because if you love it, you won’t mind building more and more content for the site. And the more content you have the more likely the search engines will give you more traffic and you will be making more money with Adsense in the long run.

So let’s say you have this 75 pages site on golf and somebody goes to google and they type in “how do I improve my golf swing”. As because your site has got a lot of content, it’s well written, google will rank you let’s just say #2 for that keyword search. So somebody comes to your site, they read your article on “how to improve your golf swing” and let’s say on the right side of that article you have some Adsense ads provided by google. These ads will be related to your golf topic, so as they are reading the article, they may glance over and see a text ad that says “how to better your golf game” and so that’s related to what they are reading about. So they might just be interested on the text ad and find out what this is about, and click on that. THAT’S IT. One click can earn you anywhere from 10 cents to $1.50 / $3.00 just for that one click. And just imagine if hundred of people come to your site everyday and click on those ads the money starts to add up.

So basically what you are doing is you are helping google advertise and they are paying you a commission for bringing traffic to their advertisers’ sites. It’s really easy once you have the site and once you have traffic. But where lot of people get stuck is they build a site, but they get 10/15 visitors per day and you are not gonna make much money if you have that amount of traffic.

I use all these information to build my sites and the basically makes money mostly from google Adsense. This is a little bit of insights on how Adsense works. You can make a ton of money, you just have to put in the work in the time and be patient.
